I really appreciate that you've included the dimmer information for the exterior awning, door and handle light. I purchased the dimmer switch you posted but it didn't come with a cover plate. Can I ask where you found the blank plate and did you need to modify/drill a hole in it to get it to fit not only the dimmer switch itself but the original hole in the wall? Thanks,
