    Texasbound,
we ended up going with the Dometic Duo Therm 15K heat pump. This week we are installing three fantastic vents, 18 LED puck style lights pulling out the three big 1156 style lights and since we had the channel removed decided to go with the new AC. We have a Carrier which was install in 2006, they are no longer made, worked well, but figured why not as labor was going to be almost nothing with the other work. All of this came together with the lights and fans going on sale over the summer and the coach being winterized at the dealer during the off season. So the costs of materials could be divided up over a year rather than one big bill. We'll let you know how it works.

I'm still debating, but I still am leaning towards the Duo Therm. Now the new Coleman Mach 8 is supposed to be very quiet and we are trying to see if we can find one already installed to see how it works. The Duo Therm has our attention due to it only drawing 13a with an output of 15K BTU. Plus we plan on connecting it to the furnace to kick in with propane if we ever get to an area that drops below 34 degrees camping. Something else we are doing that made the delay was adding new recessed LED lights and putting in Fantastic Fan vents. So when you do the math the full cost would be close to $2500. We want to camp this summer and do the work nex late fall when we put the Airstream back in storage. Have you decided yet?

Texasbound: I am so sorry I didn't get to your message until today. I have been traveling outside of computer reach and then returned quite ill. I trust you found someone to assist you that was more dependable than me. Did you purchase the trailer? I have a 75 Overlander right now that I am working on. Again, I apologize for not responding. I will pay more attention to my messages in the future. Let me know how you are doing.

    Regards

    Leo,

Where is it at? I'm actually supposed to be looking at another trailer in Covington Saturday for a friend.
