Hello!! I'm in the process of buying a 1951 Spartanette Tandem and have gone up and down your thread on the restoration you've done on your '53 131. Absolute superb job properly bringing her back to her former glory. The pics resources and info you provided in the thread have certainly been an inspiration on how it can be done to keep it as original as possible while enjoying it safely in this modern world. Do you recall the part number of the wheel bearing seals you used?
    Thanks again!! Billy

    Hello ST131,
I read that you own 3 Holiday Houses! How sweet! What are you doing with them?

I am trying to figure out what to do with my (one!) water damaged HH. Restore it, or turn it into an art project. I'm leaning in the art trailer direction. I know there are not many out there, but I need to make it into something I can use before my impatient husband hauls it off! All brainstorms considered!

    Thanks,
    Cat

    Hello ST131,
Nice Spartanette! Did you use newer rims on your travel trailer or they the originals? What size are the rims and tires for the year you have?
    Kindest regards,
    Earl

I joined this forum for no other reason that to contact you. My wife & I were married in February, 1965, and our first home was the Spartanette 131. While looking at your pictures of the restoration of your Spartanette, I'm convinced it's identical to the one we lived in. There are only a couple things that don't match, the heater is one, and the double beds are another. Are each of those original, or modifications by a previous owner? We lived in it from Feb. 1965 until July of 1966. I'd love to hear from you. If you don't mind, send me a note at tallpiper@hotmail.com
    Thanks,
    Roger
