Hello Steve and family,
I am a new member here. We own a vintage 1977 Airstream Argosy 6 Meter Minute. Love, love, love it. Devoted Airstreamers here. Cave Spring, Ga, is our home base for camping. I just wanted to stop by, intro myself, and thank you for the military services you do to let us "Sleep Safe". We are a military household. Our son is a US Army Signal Corps Afghanistan War Combat Vet, Husband is a former USAF SAC Commander for ICBM's, and I'm a former 911 Police Communications Officer. Hope your Brason Trip works out for you. Enjoy your charished time off from deployments. Hugs to you and yours, Pama and family.

Glad you guys made it home safe. I about your long trip home.
Can you tell me how one aquires rivets under their icon? Some have 1 rivet some 5, some have gold rivets. I want some rivets under my name!

I'm getting kinda tired of drilling rivets! Did you tell me your interior center (down the middle above your head) would come down first? I'm thinking that is what you told me but mine is fastened such that the other pieces would have to be removed or at least loosened to get the long center piece.
#2 I hit a snag in removing the interior aluminum trim from around the windows. I've tried two and both come loose except for the top. I can't see any other rivets but I can't get the things out. Any ideas?

Steve, we're thinking it's not likely that Laird will be called to jury duty before the Branson Rally. We'll see you -- and the other folks there. Nancy

Hey there,
I'm currently Airstream-less (but dreaming, researching and looking)...can I crash the Branson rally and pick everyone's brains? It might just be for part of Saturday. I'm from Montana but currently in Dutzow, MO (who is the other guy?) Thanks! Leah

A new guy from Dutzow, MO, just joined. Kodref is what is up there but I have idea what his name really is. I'll bet he knows where Catawissa is.

Is the front bench you have for sale good enough to either use after recovering or to use as a pattern to build another? My trailer came w/a metal bunkbed and I'd like the front bench. Is this the model where the table rests on the benches to form a bed platform? Even better.
I take it you are using all new appliances? That's the route I'm going to take, too, I think. My course of action here is to first stop the leaks. The biggest leaks (I've found) were from the OEM vent openers that rusted and were twisted off leaving three rivet holes on either side of the vent cover. I'm going to use two Fantastic fans now and block off the middle one until I'm farther along--no sense in letting an A/C warranty expire while I'm still working on the trailer>
Let me know what you want for it and I'll send you the money! If you could get it to Branson, it would be even better.
"Turleen" is going for a new coupler and jack today. I rigged temporary lights, packed the bearings, installed new safety chains, and hope a lot that the worn out coupler won't let it get loose for a 13 mile trip. I gotta get my welder fixed.......

Hi
I would love to get back to Branson sometime. I was there for a Hensley Rally about 5 years ago. Unfortunately we have a show in Toronto the same weekend so it won't be this time. I notice in your picture you have a 75 29'. That is a pretty rare model.
