I have a 2008 Safari 23 FB and a 2016 Touareg TDI. New to towing and being very careful to learn all I can about towing safely. I have installed a Hensley Cub on the Safari to make sure there will never be any away. After removing the batteries (Lithiums inside under the dinette bench so no extra TW from those or their inverter/charger) TW is is still just about the factory TW of 500. So, Hensley Cub adds about the same to TW as the batteries which was about 60 Lbs. I hope to keep TW of Safari loaded at 600 with careful loading of trailer and not worry about about whether TW limit of Touareg is 616 (per recent factory stickers) or 770 (per older factory stickers). Curious what WDH if any you use and what TW limit for your Mercedes is per the factory sticker. Thanks for sharing.
