Sean - I hear you are the man to ask.....so here is my question.

Going to purchase a GMC 2500HD w/ the Diesel and Allison Tranny to tow a new 2017 AS Flying Cloud FB/Twin. Plan to purchase and install a PP3 Anti-Sway Hitch. Question is......which one? 600#/800#/1000#/1400# PP3?? I obviously want to leave myself open for a larger trailer one day as well. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hey Sean, I hope this finds you happy and healthy.

I told you a long, long, long time ago that I was going to writeup something about your product. Well, I finally got around to it and I felt that you needed to know.

My post is not a work of art, but I hope it's clear.

Thank you for being out there.

    Cheers,

    Dan Gates.... Gator113

It was me. I want to get a price to replace my Reese dual cam hitch. I have a 2007 Safari SE and a 2010 Toyota Tundra as the TV.

    Sean:

have a question which i posted on the forum section which perhaps you could WEIGH in on which has to do with the weight of the propride i purchased. As with all things Airstream there are seemingly as many opinions as RV'ers!! The issue pertains to calculating cargo carrying capacity.

o Dealer said in calculating cargo carrying capacity i have to add the 228 lbs of the propride since it is on the frame when i weigh it

o An AS'r from the forum was kind enought to reply and say that you don't count the hitch (this 180 degree difference in opinion assured me i was dealing with genuine Airstreamers)

o Another thread, if i understood it correctly, implied that you can take off 2/3rds of the hitch weight since it is transferred to the TV

o Yet another thread indicated that you can subtract the weight of the wheels etc.

I would appreciate any input you can provide.
