It has been weeks since we have worked on our work in progress
Lack of money has brought our project to a halt
We tried to put it in our barn a month ago, but it was about 6 inches too tall
It now sits in the front driveway instead of the front yard, but I wish it would fit into the barn
Thanks for reading my blog
Have a nice day

Finally did a little work on our project this last weekend! Peeled away all the old caulking around the windows and replaced it. We had found a waterstain near a swollen copper pipe and wasn't sure if it was new or old. Well, it rained and it was new!! Rob helped out (shirtless) and got a heck of a sunburn in about 1 hour's time!! Who'd a-thunk?!?
Anyways, we went to 3 car shows last weekend & the previous weekend, so the old AS project was on hold, but he promised me that we would work...

Saturday, we started to install the laminate wood floor and we are waiting for a small piece of vinyl/laminate to apparently fall from the sky... We missed the WBCCI Open House because we worked right through it. But we did take a break to take the kids to...

Last week, we were offered Grandpa's Airstream. It had been stored in a barn since 1977. My husband has been wanting to travel Route 66 in his '62 Chrysler 300, so we thought, sure!! Let's give it a look. I had never been in an Airstream and had not really seen one up close.
We travelled to the farm and pulled it out of the barn and I thought it was pretty nice, considering the 30 years of mouse nest and ??? The shell had clearcoat in good shape, no dings or dents, lots of original equipment....
