Thanks...we're still contemplating what we're going to do...May be getting the airstream sooner than we thought, if this hurricane is a humdinger!
    Have fun on your trip!

Fingers crossed it goes another way...We're rethinking this living on the gulfcoast thing...time to head higher up to live.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding; my only "kids" are two miniature schnauzers.

Yes the border is a pain, you shoudl try the Okanagan in BC, it's on the desert belt, some here call it Plam Springs North

Nothing bad happened...got very little wind and rain...and since we always wait till the last minute to evacuate...didn't have to do that either...

Not sure on when plan to purchase...Have a few other things going on that could put a damper on how quick we get to get one. I would love to do some travel nursing in a few years...I just started back to school for my Master's, so that will probably take me a little longer then 2 yrs. So it's all sorta wait and see at the moment...plus need to build shelter for the TV and AS...would be nice to have that before we get one.

I have histarical plates on my airstream, I live right down the road from you. I was told i could use a vintage plate if I wanted also. My buddies have been useing them for years. Nice looking rig! There is a West Branch ralley this weekend. Out by the Ravenna Arsinal. It is listed on the forums. FYI

Well, I couldn't figure out how to send a picture, so search on "Are these your hubcaps". I posted a reply to that thread with a photo. I'm kind of an e-dinosaur when it comes to all this.

Hi. Your rig looks great. We've actually tried two different types of baby moons. The first were the regular dome type. We bought a new set of four on e-Bay (from a hubcap company). For whatever reason, the street side would not fit. I destroyed two of them, before we just started taking it off before trips and putting it on when we arrived. Then we bought a pair of the conical baby moons from vintage trailer supply. Street side fits (tight) but no more issues. I did dent it a little. But they look good. I'll try to figure out how to send a photo.
