Actually what I'm looking for in the fitting into the Champion regulator. I've been all over and no LP dealer within 50 miles of me has the correct fitting to let me connect the quick connect into the LP tank plug port. Seems to be metric? But no, including a call to Champion support can help.

Looking at your photo, it appears you have removed the LP female tank connector to a connector that allowed you to go to the quick connect adapter.

Do you know what that part is?

    Hi Rich,
You mentioned that you put your red numbers on plexiglass. Where exactly? Do you have them visible while on the move? Thanks, Tim

I attended Cal State Hayward out in California for my BS in Computer Science. Assembly Language on a PDP11 was the only "A" I received in my college coursework.

Hello Rich: I'm Bill, KE6MUE, presently on the move toward TX. Can you post or send some pics of your shack and antennae set up? I'm wanting to set up in my 01 Safari 25ft. for operation in the trailer when camped. I'm full time, and wanting to get back on the air, even though I know the bands are pretty dead nowadays. I was just in the Philippines for 2 years and met a yl who loves 40 meter phone and cw. She has her dipole strung between 2 very tall coconut palms and enjoys pretty good performance out of it. I have shot antennas into tall trees before with a slingshot, but want to moun t something mobile. Hope you can share pics and info. Thanks, 73

    Hello Rich --
I'm a Vintage Kin owner of a 64 Streamline 26'er, and am mostly all down with a floor-up restore. I want to travel with radio antennas and can't figure out how or where to get the cables up to the roof without creating a future roofleak. There's a
hole in the roof where one of the vents went through, it is currently patched closed, but could be reopened for through-roof use. Can I ask for an idea or so as to how a Ham like yourself gets the signals to and from the roof?

Thanks in advance-- Tom D. in Grass Valley, CA

In the ham tradition of building one's own equipment, I thought you might like to have a peek at the microcamper that I built a couple of years ago. A senior couple saw it and offered me their '95 30'Excella at a reasonable price. Due to their illnesses, it had been neglected for 5-8 years on a storage lot.

Solar question for you...when you leave your AS stored out in the open so your solar panel is generating power (and the trailer is NOT connected to shore power) do you leave the switch in the "use" position? I just had to leave my AS stored for five months like this and I had put the battery switch to "store". When I checked on the trailer this weekend the batteries were completely dead. I expected the 95w solar panel to keep the batteries topped off. I live in the southwest with plenty of sun and have a 3 stage charge converter. Thanks!

    rmkrum,
I found the pics and posted them would you mind looking and giving your opinion if I should get it. I have to get new tires I have already spent 40 in gas 30 for a baby sitter and it will be another 80 in gas today So well say after I pick it up ( which is 80 miles one way) I'll have !50 invested plus new tires. Do you think Ill have trouble recouping that? Oh and I am going to have to go to DMV because they have had it sitting in their yard for ten years and bought it from an impound so no papers.
