Why does the coffee taste best when sitting on the top step of my Airstream?

Maybe the care taken to make it in the absence of a coffee maker or the fresh open air makes a difference. I'm not really certain, but the simple act of sitting on the top step of my trailer, feet on the dirt, looking squinty eyed at the morning makes the steaming coffee in my cup seem like a magical elixer to be inhaled, gazed into and enjoyed fully.

Sometimes people just surprise you. She looked ordinary; aging bottle-blonde, little white dog, big purse and a big honkin’ car.

Ordinary enough that is, until I saw her wheel into a tiny county park, towing a 61' Bambi, do a three point turn and back that Bambi into a blind opening between to very hard trees. No hesitation, no fuss, no adjustments. Perfect the first time.

There are some things in this world I just don't understand. Why bottled water from a city tap sells for big bucks just becuase it's labeled 'mountain', why tiny trailers often cost more than large ones and why people choose to camp in a fancy parking lot for 40 dollars a night when you can camp for free with a view.

All things being equal, I'd prefer free water from the tap and a great view. Leave the asphalt campgrounds for others; I want to camp with a view.
