Hello Rich. We have a 74' Tradewind. Interior very similar to yours. You have a posted picture of your kitchen to sleeping quarters. What rail did you retro fit for your privacy curtain? We had to cut that darn section out to replace the new AC. Then the trim was still too tall for AC cover. Please help. Would like to use accordian privacy curtain sometimes. Also, tell me about your flat screen tv hookup. Looks nice. Do you have extra batteries or generator to run that? We are newbies.....Thanks .

Hey Rich! I saw you were on the forum and thought I'd say Hi! Just an update; I've moved my trailer to my dad's house where it can sit for prolonged periods and have started the floor replacement. Hope it goes well 'cause then the interior replacement should go quickly. I thought about your trim hunt the other day. There is an aircraft trim supplier over on Royalton st. named High-Tech Finishing that you might give a call. I don't have a number but get back with me if you're unable to find one and I'll see if I can get it.

Richhog, I am working on the 7-pin light switch diagram and will send a copy as soon as I complete it to all that requested it - soon I hope.

    Hello Rich,
Thanks for all the hospitality and encouragement this past weekend. My wife and I had a great time! I am definitely going to try to make it to Montgomery in Feb. It will be my birthday weekend just like your wife had this weekend! FYI, I'm changing my ID to Kingrob.

It just so happens the awning is out right now drying out from this weekend's trip. I took two pics that will hopefully help show you what you need to see. The insert image doesn't seem to want to work right now, so I will send the pics in a PM.

    Cheers,
    Eric

This is the way I work mine, and I assume it is the correct way, however it is different than the awnings on my previous two SOB trailers...about 2/3 of the way up the main arms are round metal stops that are ~3/8" in diameter. If you pull the main arms all the way out on both sides at the same time (requires two people), then one person can hold one side real tight, while the other person extends the support arm (cross brace) out on that same side and slide it up against the metal stop, and then secure by tightening the knob on the support arm. Then repeat the same steps for the other side.

This awning is not the most user friendly as it takes two people to operate unlike newer awnings, however once the awning is secure it seams to hold nice and tight. Also, my awning looks like new after nearly 35 years, so I'm very impressed with the longevity of the awning material.

Thanks for the nice comments about my post! I was wondering if you received my PM about the GX470... I'm looking at possibly getting a used one, and was wondering how happy you are with the GX towing. Has it been powerful / stable enough for you?
    Thanks!
    Marc
