I probably should have ordered spares but so far (knock on wood) everything seems to be running fine. Wayne also bought the MMU but I've not heard how well he likes it or whether he's used it as yet.

It will be interesting to see the prints you get with the different colors.

One of these days I will likely order as spare plate but I figure I'd wait a while to see if anything else fails before doing so. Right now I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

It sounds like you bought a fully assembled unit. I'm curious to hear how well the MMU works out. Right now I haven't been able to justify the multi color cost.

Tomorrow I will be posting some pictures and some comments to Wayne's thread on the weep hole covers. I printed a couple for someone to try on their 310 and they didn't fit right. Both cockpit and side covers need some tweaking to make the work.

I don't have the powder coated plate. They weren't selling those when I placed my order due to quality issues. Personally I don't see a need for them. I have yet to have a print fail due to not sticking to the plate. As a matter of fact they stick almost to well. If the plate wasn't flexible it would be difficult at times to break a part free.

It's amazing how well this printer prints and how good the accuracy is.
