Thanks for your enquiry about mounting of solar panels. The mounting hardware on the roof are just "Z" brackets. They are positioned to be at a rib - i.e., where the skin is attached to the frame. The profile is low, so that the panels do not distract from the overall view of the trailer.

Thanks for the tip on the boot for trailer security. We may yet go that route, though our new California Immobilizer for the coupler looks pretty nice. Let me know what you think.

Thanks Skip! We are coming from North Central FLorida and plan on seeing Santa Fe, Zion, Bryce and the North Rim. We are still firming up our route and still need to get a trailer . But, we are looking at a 2007 31" Classic Limited tomorrow. Wish us luck!

Hi Phoenix! I was checking the archives for suggestions for travel to the West and you suggested a route for first timers? Your note said that you had a PDF of your trip a few years back. If you wouldn't mind, would it be possible to please share that PDF with me? We are looking to purchase an Airstream this year and travel to Arizona, etc. next summer with our kids. Thank you so much! I appreciate any input you are willing to provide. Looking forward to being an Airstream owner soon!~

I filled out the poll with a "NO" for that response and added a comment today in that same thread, 9 January 2013.

Hi Phoenix, I participated in the GYM survey though the data may be flawed by its failure to capture tire data on tires that did not fail. Thanks for taking the time to build the survey.

We experienced a complete battery failure on our weekend trip, so i'm hunting down replacement battery info online and found your post. can you elaborate on how you installed the battery isolator on your bambi? we also have a 19' bambi, 2007.

also what version of the optima blue top battery did you go with, there are several versions when i search amazon. how did your new batteries hold up? would you recommend them still?
