I kept the old fuse panel for my 73 for the same reason. The problem I have with the old fuse panel is sometimes I will lose power in a DC area because the fuse loses the connection. I take the fuse and the area where it is placed and give it a quick sanding. I always get power back. After a year the same thing happens again with another fuse or the same. I am getting a bit tired of doing that. I want to put in a modern fuse panel to eliminate that problem but I don't want to lose the other readings it gives me.

I have the same type of old fuse panel. I was just shopping the same type of modern fuse panel you installed with your old. When I do this will I have to use the old with the new? I would like to see the back side of the panels to see what wire you brought over to the new fuse panel. Every time we camp I have to jiggle the old fuses because I lose power in certain places.
