    Hey Don,

It's Steve Hamilton the old Hamibambi restoration guy. I wanted to let you know that I've resurrected my thread and I'm back on the case after all these years. The shell is all back together and the infrastructure thanks to some help from GSM/Nomad in upstate NY is all together and I've now picked up the mantle and working on building the interior cabinetry. New skills that I'm picking up as I go along. Anyway, I hope you're well and hope you have a look at the thread. If you don't remember or aren't subscribed anymore it's called Is this plan totally crazy.

    All the best!

    Steve H.

Don, You have to look on the rally calendar, it won't come up until they put the July rallies on the Portal. I sure hope you guys can make it. Are you going to hang around upper Oregon between Trout lake and Baker City, you are more than welcome to hang out at the Oregon Coast with us.

Hi! my blog has links to some recent models and a few pics of my project - 56, dual axle Overlander. I'm more familiar with Sketch Up than Airstreams but learning a little more every week. Hmm the tiny url link failed on my last comment - try my <blog>; more trailer pics on this <gallery> sketch up model on <warehouse>. I've begun proper exterior work on sketchup today - need to do the tail end cap right, slightly different on our (ohio?) model to your lovely whale tail. Not that I need to do it at all - it was just the insides I need to resolve ...but its such good fun, I won't rest until I have the whole model done Anyway, let me know what you think so far. Thanks & kind regards Dave

Great to see a fellow sketch up+airstream enthusiast. really impressed with your youtube collection. I've only been modeling my Overlander interior so far but I will sort out the shell later. Great fun so far! Airstream Overlander interior by davros - Google 3D Warehouse

    Hi there,

I am interested in your Dometic refer post. I was wondering if I could get some pictures of the refer. I grew up in the San Diego area and as a child we camped on the Gulf of California often. Our family used a Dometic that was brown and had the round logo with the rising sun. I would like to get photos if I can?

    Thanks,

    Paul
