I'm looking at a 76 Argosy in Hebron, the CL ad is at: Vintage 1976 Airstream Argosy

It's an 8 hour drive for me, I am very serious if it's not to big a job like a full monty. I was wondering if you get over to Hebron and if you would possibly want to inspect for me for a fee? I can't tell well enough from their pictures if the unit is in good condition. It's been in AZ for awhile then now in ND for the past 2 years.
Please feel free to call me at 612 229 1555

Sounds like you are making great progress if you can get the shell off already. You are also very lucky to find a welder to help you. When we tried, it was like trying to find hen's teeth. Glenn is busy with making cabinet pull outs for the house but has started back on the Pacer a bit today. He wants to get the Fantastic Fan mounted on the 31' too but all is weather dependent.

We might get crazy and head out Friday afternoon for the weekend to go camping even if the weather isn't the greatest. I just hate the thought of missing out on any more time on the weekends when we know in a few weeks any thoughts of camping will be out of the question. Are you taking lots of pictures as you go along?

I hope to have my shell off this week and sandblast weld the frame this weekend. I found out one of my neighbors is a welder and he offered to help me out I'm planning to do whatever I can around the weather... it's still in the middle of a field. lol
    How are yours coming along?

    Hi,
No problem with the delay to be honest we have decided to make the old girl habitable and use it as a fishing camp. Will try to rent a season space at Green lake in Wishek.
Good luck with the maiden voyage.

    Hi,
My name is Tom Peck from Linton ND, I have a 1972 31' Sovereign that I had intended to rehab but health issues have stopped that project. Would you please give me a call 701-254-8100. I have some questions that as an inspector you may be able to help me with.
    Thanks

Hi Sandy I'm about to set off on my recovery missions. Stage one is a trip to Ohio tonight to get the 1955 Overlander. I'm going to sleep now and leaving at about 11:00PM my time. I'll be back Saturday night. Then I'm leaving on Sunday for Idaho and expect to be in your area Wednesday or Thursday. However I did a silly thing. I was clearing out my PM's and lost your address and phone#. Can you PM it to me again and I'll get it on Saturday. Thanks Chris.
