Hi Mike, I'm going to look at an '82 310 TD. I saw something about you having an OD? What was it? How was it? Was your unit turbo'd? Did you ever turn it up? was radiator a limiting factor on pulling hills?

Ouch!! Sorry about your total. Mine has ben sold. When talking yo my brother who travels different roads in Spokane, he told about a 310 along East Trent that appeared to not having been moved for years. I found that 310 today and discovered some damage to the right rear quarter panel including the tail lights, A crease in the skin above the rear window. Not tabbed since 2007. so not used in 7 years. Unknown about sales. No one around on Sunday.
estimation of quality, not as pretty as mine. Value??? less than $4000. Maybe your total has the parts that would make this one (WHOLE). Could make a trip to find an owner and phone number if you are interested. Ernie Preedy

The 310 Diesel works great for us...200K no oil burned, 15 mpg.
We have a overdrive unit that enables us to pass farm machinery,
climbing grades, watch the water temp. gauge, nothing else.
Don't try the Donner with a old coach or during the winter; it's prolly
the worst pass in the country...it goes on forever. The Isuzu is slow up the
    hills, very slow.

My father had bought a 310 turbo diesel back in 1983. As I remember, it was really nice to drive and got great fuel econimy for it's size. Also, as best I can remember, it had OK power. In your opinion, how is the power. How fast would it pull the Doner / I-80 out of Sacramento (5 to 6% grades) or a comprable incline? Is the Isuzu diesel motor a 4 or 6 cylender Motor? Thanks, Chris in central Ca.
