saw your post on the lock. i have one but it is not working if i understand your post you can salvage parts from mine and make a good lock. mina has the tabs on the slide broken off other wise it is complete.. or you can have tabs welded on mine and it will be ok. the fix andy suggest is not the way to go if you dont have to. if intrestes pm me

While I am now shopping for trailers, I have contemplated a diesel 310. Your snowbound photos are what I may well be doing soon. I am in need of advice from a diesel 310 veteran.

I need to tour the northern Rockies et al. during my camp site selections and other real estate investment field work. The AS trailers are to be the job site field office and bunkhouse. A diesel 310 makes sense and is comfy to drive and park in towns.

Can one pull an AS trailer? Weight limit?

The engine is Isuzu 6cyl.? Milage? Ease of service?

Pricing guidelines? I am a real estate economist, expecting a harsh decline in RV demand.

Cold weather use? Limit?

I was reading a post where you said you use two oil heaters. We loves ours at home and I was wanting to use them in the AS. It was nice reading that you haven't blown any breakers. I was wondering though, what are your avg lows in AZ and are you having to use your propane heaters at all? We will be full timing next winter but will have to stay in KS/MO and I am apprehensive about winter.

Mike~ I am from the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, living now in Surprise, AZ. Where was your profile pic taken? Looks like a lovely spot.

The 310 Diesel works great for us...200K no oil burned, 15 mpg.
We have a overdrive unit that enables us to pass farm machinery,
climbing grades, watch the water temp. gauge, nothing else.
Don't try the Donner with a old coach or during the winter; it's prolly
the worst pass in the country...it goes on forever. The Isuzu is slow up the
hills, very slow.
