Today we replaced the rear floor. After the painful process of digging out all of those bolts and hidden screws, we managed to free the rear shell in preparation of adding the floor. We used a high lift jack, borrowed from a buddy who carries it on his jeep, to lift the rear section. The 1966 Safari does not have the divider between the belly pan and the bumper trunk, so there was plenty of room to work. We purchased a 1966 Safari on Labor Day 2012. She is a double with a good shell and two good gouchos. She has original counter tops, cabinets, and bathroom. The PO replaced the curb side window beside the door with plexiglass and there were some modifications to the bathroom. Most of the rear floor was rotten, but the rest of the floor is in decent shape. The refrigerator was replaced by a dorm fridge by the PO
