Hi Carolyn! Just saw this today - I wasn't sure how this friend stuff worked on airforums.

Our maiden voyage was tough as we arrived at night and had a heck of a time getting the trailer positioned well. But, after some cursing, we had an excellent weekend. We then took it to my sister's place the next weekend for three nights. The Highlander did very well. I still find myself wondering what it would be like towing with a truck, and the comments here from the "truck enthusiasts" who denigrate those people towing with anything but a truck are demoralizing. However, we have a total of 45 nights planned in the trailer next year, and therefore we will see how the Highlander does on some longer grades.

Your trip to Florida sounds amazing! Lucky you to be able to do that during the winter.

We are planning to attend an Ontario rally next season to see what it is like. I was a bit turned off by the rules and regulations I read online, but we have an open mind.

    Till next time!
