if you are referring to the rains and tides of last week that was just in South Jersey. There are a couple of coastal towns that flood from the bay side during a NW wind. Water gets in there on a high tide and the wind keeps it there till the next tide.

Kayak will head south in Jan.

Looks like you made contact with AirstreanAl, a Jersey Shore Heaven type. Did you do anything with that trailer?
