    Hi.

I'm sorry this is so late in coming, but I didn't realize I had a PM. Yes, I do believe the wet-bath changeover to a regular shower/tube bath is doable. The main problem I see is the available space, but if you are willing to move things around, I think it can be done.

In our Safari, we had planned to move the bedroom to the rear, and the bath area onto the street side. This would involve removing some closets, etc., but in the end I think it would work out. Finding the right size shower pan could be a little difficult, the smallest I could find is 24" x 24", and then we planned to use thin stainless steel for the shower walls. However, my DH stated that he thought he'd just fabricate a shower pan for us out of stainless.

How are things going for you, have you started yet?

We recently bought another AS, a '69 Tradewind, so it has 2' more in length, and I believe we are going to sell our Safari (1971) and use the Tradewind.
