Hello JSC168...thanks for the reply, even though delayed. I added the Go-Power panels, changed to 4 6v batteries and awaiting new MMPT controller in development from Atkinson that will fit in place of existing one. Happy with the install and results so far - we'll see if the Go-Power panels hold up; if not I will take a closer look at the AllPowers one you noted ... thanks. See you on the road someday.

Solar panel addition follow-up
I too own a 2016 GT-EXT and love it. Mod's include a "headboard" for bed; a safe for laptops and $'s; pantry mirror for wife and small towel bar under switch panels by front door. Wife added lots of Container Store plastic boxes for drawers, pantry & fridge to increase and secure storage of foodstuffs.
SOLAR PANEL - I too want to add more and just love your simple solution. It's now been about 9 months since your post - how is it holding up? Still working and giving you the extra-off grid for the fridge and some lights? How did you plug the new panels into the existing one and am I clear you did not have to modify the controller? Would truly love to know more as we will be boon docking at Albuquerque Balloon Festival in October 2017.

Hi I'm in Temple City and noticed you're in Pasadena. May I ask which dealer did you purchase your Interstate from and which dealer for service? I have a 2017 on order and am awaiting delivery mid August. How is the solar power system so far?
