Lucky for us, someone already replaced the weak parts on the whole back end of the trailer! So all we need to do is replace five cross members and a few small pieces. My handy man used five foot steel C channel and cut out the end corners to fit inside the two main beams. Now that it's all cut, just waiting for him to weld them in, I can't wait!

I may be crafty, but I'm no where near handy. He sends me to the garage for tools, and if I don't have a picture of it, it could be...

Time to clean her up!

There was a lot of junk inside, appliances that aren't any good, florescent lights, random metal bars, original shower skin and fridge, grey tank, rolled up interior skin (not actually junk), garbage...you name it. We separated everything into three categories, keep, maybe, and junk. We removed whatever was left from the wood floor and used pieces of wood to support the frame (got that idea from another blog, Minno, Litte Girl), what a helpful blog! Next came...

Our Airstream journey started with this idea to move to North Dakota, crazy right? Didn't take long to realize our only option is to live in a trailer. I was NOT excited about that part at all. But, getting past myself, I started searching craigslist for travel trailers. It didn't take long before these silver twinkies started catching my eye. I shared my interest with Chis, and he informed me that they are pretty much the only way to go when it comes to trailers, lol, I knew he was a keeper. ...
