I am ramping up courage to start electrical installation for 66 safari.... starting with 7pin system first. have notes from many sources. emphasis on rodent protection, safety, with fuse box.
so far have whip coming into front of trailer with fuse box connection, 14 gauge awg copper stranded for led running lights, 12 gauge for brakes in flex conduit, 10 gauge for ground and 12 volt. all wiring inside of trailer accept brake. running mostly in ceiling of trailer. I saw a 7 pin that had an led indicator light for live connection that looked time saving for checking hook up connection. Any thoughts you might have?

Have 1966 safari axle up renovation just got shell reattached. You look on a similar path that I am headed. Would love to see what you have done. Trying to figure out airforum.
