Hi, I am new to the Airstream Forum and just purchased a 76 Argosy 26 ft. four days ago. I bid on it at an estate sale in Tulsa and won the bid. However, the previous owner is an elderly lady and the keys she left in the trailer do not work. They go in but do not unlock. There is no door key on the set of keys she gave me. Will I have to have a lock smith make new keys for me or is their a place I can possibly purchase new keys. Although the little jewel is now open, I would like to lock and unlock the doors on the outside of the trailer. Any help would be appreciate.

    Dear Andy.
With economy going the way it is today--consider the wide range of AS enthusiasts that want to re-do their AS's.
Perhaps you could begin a new reality show that renovates AS's....
This would not only boost your popularity, but also the history of the AS as whole!!
People like me need help and like myself, I do have my AS paid for, but she needs a lot of work....I am learning as I go...
You have a wealth of knowledge and could provide a much needed service not only to people like myself, but also to all people abroad!!!
Maybe I have too much confidence in you, but I feel as though you are the AS GURU!!! Smile!!!!

I hope that all is well with you...Working in the medical field, I know that you must be quite concerned, as well as I for your health. I do appreciate your information and will contact Greg, per your suggestion this week. Please keep me updated on your status...Wishing you well.....

Hi, I have a 1974 Sovereign and am interested in awnings.....Do I have to research vintage Airstreams in order to get an awning that is designed expecially for AS??? So far I have not been impressed by the SOB awnings and have had to resort to SOB awnings made for a 'shoe box'.....I would like to have awnings not only to fit the front of my AS, but also to fit on the rear and front windows as they receive the most sunlight...I don't want to 'break the bank' trying to get what I need....Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have a 1974 25' airstream with 12" brakes. I have one wheel that locks up when I first start out but seems to be OK when it warms up. I had a bad grease seal and am replacing it. The magnetic pad is worn down the the screws. The factory says that they don't support the round pads anymore, where can I find a new or used round pad?

    Andy,

I have a Bargman L-100 lock on my '65 Airstream Sovereign. I disassembled and lubricated it, and it's in good working order, but I'm missing the key and the guide plate. Do you have cylinders and keys for the L-100? How about a guide plate? It might be just as easy to replace the outside knob and escutcheon with a new unit. This lock has the 3-7/8" backset (the expensive one).

    Hi Andy,
Do you have a rebuilt kit for the Jabsco Par 36800-1000 Water Pump?
If so what is the cost of the kit and shipping to R0L 1P0 in MB. Canada?
    Thanks,
    Bob

    Hi Andy,
I have a 1976 29' Ambassador. I am looking for segment protectors and a 3 segment rock guard (newer style that will fit a '76) for the front windows.
    Are they available?
    What is the cost?

    Thanks,

    Michael Springer
