Finally on the road. Now to keep away from severe weather... don't travel to the south, avoid the blizzards on the northern plains. How do we get to Virginia?
First night in Nampa, Idaho. Second night at Willard Bay near Ogden, Utah. Tonight in Rock Springs, Wyoming. So far we've avoided most of the negative weather and plan to stay north.

Lots to report. Got the parking area for Sylvia excavated this past week and rock placed down. We will eventually build a block retaining wall and install an RV carport but that will have to wait until June.
I washed and waxed the AS. Wow, she needed to be cleaned and waxing was a good way to inspect all the joints and other parts that you just don't see under normal circumstances. Then I painted the 'A' frame and washed and waxed the TV. Tomorrow I finish painting the hitch.

Picked up the AS from the dealer last week and first thing I noticed a little moisture in the rear compartment. It was definitely less than before so I dried it out (again!) and started checking all the other jooints in the area. I noticed the right tailight had some missing caulk on the side which is very close to where the leak is. I repaired the tailight caulk and we had two days of continuous rain and all is dry. I'm not ready to say it is fixed just yet, but so far so good.

I took Sylvia to the AS dealer to get some routine maintenance completed (bearings, brakes, replace skylight) eight days ago and I'm missing her . Besides the fact it has been raining and I'm wondering about the leaky skylight, we have also had several nights where the temps dipped down slightly below freezing.
I thought I would be able to pick her up last Friday. I think I am going to have to call this morning. I scheduled an appointment three weeks ahead of time but apparently...

Well, it was supposed to be sunny Friday so Thursday I removed the chrome trim on the rub rail and spent several hours cleaning off the old double-sided tape. Friday morning I unscrewed the rub rail back beyond the rounded section of the rear of the trailer to expose the area to be caulked. Well... it appears this "fix" had been done before; but not very well.
I removed all the old caulk and re-applied TremPro 636 and tooled it. Nice stuff but at 50 degrees it takes forever...
