If you ever get this way again, just give me a ring. It would be great to chat with you.

I'm trying to find the thread that you put together on your installation of the second a/c. Would you be so kind as to send me a link to it. My rig will only pull down to 85f in summer and we are planning on full timing in a couple months so I have to make it bearable.

Little nervous water lines will freeze, Guess should leave water running????

    What do you think???

Down to 12 degrees for next Sunday/Monday.

I'm trying but not easy, gonna try & skirt unit better with plastic all around & heat bulb underneath. Also new furnace coming soon to help I hope, replacing original unit, 30,000 btu. Floor gets ice cold, far cooled than I imagined.

Any suggestions??? I will make it, have $ for whatever it takes to make it through winter in my AS, kind of a challenge for me. Lived on sailboat for 6 years on coast, water kept floor/hull warmer I guess. Floor/hull never got this cold. ???

Thanks, have great first day of December.

"Rick, use a worn out roller skate wheel to roll out the dent from the inside..."
Hey- is it a total b*tch to get the interior end cap out? or do-able? I've heard varying opinions on this....

Even the facts can't stop an out control axle thread.

I just wanted to post a quick "thank-you" for your work so far on the axle installation. I'm surprised by the findings so far, but that's usually what happens when you do experiments like this. The obvious guess would be that the increased travel of the new shocks can better handle large events. But, I thought your test route was pretty long and would be typical of the conditions of normal towing. In any case, I look forward to seeing any additional data you come up with. It's been years since I studied vibes (I got my MSME in 1990), but if you want to "bounce" ideas around , drop me a line.

    Thanks,

    Jon

We pulled out of the Lamarie KOA around 10:00ish headed for a spot between there and Dodge City. The traffic on I-80 was light so we never turned south and we ended up in Some Where Nebraska...I think tomorrow is the 4th of July.

If you have no plan, there is no way it can go wrong, right?

Still getting around 14 mpg.

Not much of a chance over the last few days to post, too busy playing. Cell coverage is in Colter Bay CG goofy, Iphones sorta work on data but a MiFi is completely useless. It must be blocked or something.

Average MPG for the entire trip so far, all the way to Colter Bay is 13. We got 20 running around the park(s).

We tried a day trip to Yellowstone and hated it. Too many grumpy people so the rest of the time available was spent in Jackson Hole and nearby Forest Service...

Todays motto...drive, wind, cool, stunning.

Drive across WY, 50 mph cross winds ripped off the top of the propane cover, the temps drops 20 degrees and the 20 miles of WY 191 from just before Bondurant to Jackson WY are worth all the miles from Mississippi.

The wind was a front quart'ring and dropped the days mpg to 11+

From Fort Morgan CO to Vedauwoo WY via Nebraska...(I took a wrong turn...)

We pulled out of the rather un-remarkable CG around 6:00AM, headed north on the 2 lane roads toward Cheyenne WY, or so we thought...

Within a few miles the sun was covered by fog, flash backs to 4 years ago in the same situation. The dang GPS decided to make me turn right instead of left so we ended up driving toward Kimbal NE in the fog. I guess it was meant to be, we were alone on the road...
