Just saw another one of your posts and learned a lot from it. My question is what brand is that power port you put on your trailer and where did you buy it? Second, did you run the power port wire directly to the inverter parallel to the original power wire on the back of the trailer?

You are doing exactly what I want to do with my truck & camper. Put a bedslide in the truck with a Honda EU3000. The camper shell will have side windows that I can direct the generator exhaust towards and the other side window will have a fan pulling air into the camper shell. I would like to get more information from you about how you like the bed slide, what brand you have and just general information about your setup

We recently purchased a 1974 Argosy 26' and are having trouble getting the wiring to work with our 2003 Ford F250 pick-ups 7 blade connection. Can anyone help. We are having trouble figuring out the colors on the wiring chart. We got it figured out except running lights and tail lights. We are going to check under the belly next.

Hey Marvin, I have a question for you... actually, I guess it's more of a question followed by a favor. What A/C are you running? If it's the OEM, would you mind detailing to me the fan positions, (like starting at OFF going clockwise, HI Cold, MED cold, etc...) My sticker has completely faded and I'd love to be able to find out what the settings are. Replacing the shroud is in scope for this year, but total AC unit replacement is next year, at best...

Thanks a lot! I'm excited about getting on this forum. We just got the trailer a few days ago, but I'm already elbow-deep in it. Also, thanks for the thread suggestion. I'll go through it!!

    Hey Annie and Marvin,

Amy's job in St. Louis shut down, and she was transferred to San Antonio, TX back in July. The movers took all of out things in late July, and I took Collin to Texas in early August. Unfortunately, I will be staying here in St. Louis on bare essentials for the next two years while finishing nursing school. We had to sell the ambassador to buy Amy a new car, and sold the flying cloud project since school is taking all of my time. Total loss on the two was $12k not including labor I put in .

I am going to be heading down for Thanksgiving the 19-29 of Nov. if you guys will be anywhere near the S.A. area, and would like to congregate.

I will also be flying down Dec 18, and will be staying until Jan 16th.

As for the TX Vintage for this year, it is being held in May in northern Texas near Dallas. I may make the drive up for a couple of days with the leak tester, but really wish we had a trailer so we could participate!

    Hope all is well!
    Steve

    HI Marvin and Annie,

We are recovering from the accident pretty well. Still going to the chiro weekly but not twice weekly and doing much better emotionally. We have settled with the ins. co's and are now replacing our airstream with a 28' 1976 Argosy! We haven't seen her yet but appears to be in great shape and can't wait till next week when we see her. We have replaced the tv too with a sherman tank, diesel Excursion, so it should be safe. Safe Travels, Kate
