Three steps, two required and one optional.
0 - Not really a step, just a precaution— make sure the low-point drains are closed.
1 - Make sure the water heater bypass is closed. It's an orange- or yellow-handled valve under the rear sofa on the driver's side, a little bit ahead of and to the right of the water heater. Access it through the rear doors and reach under the seat.
2 - Open one of the faucets to full hot. Bathroom sink is best, because as the hot-water line fills with water it could "spit" a few times and the shower floor is easier to clean up in case of splashes.
3 - If that doesn't do the trick, go outside and "burp" the water heater by manually opening the pressure relief valve at the top of the heater, to get rid of most of the air bubble. If water comes out the pressure relief valve you held it open too long.
Naturally, do all this with the water heater turned off.
