Our cabinets were hand made by Uwe Salwender....made with an appreciation of the balance of light weight and sturdiness. No out gassing chemicals as well. He did use IKEA drawers, towel bars and stuff like that......good luck with your rebuild.

Hi Gomez, sure the repair your asking about is a partial shell on floor repair. Quite a few people go that route and if you use the advanced google search function within the forums you'll find advice on the many different ways to get it done. I replaced the entire floor which is very different animal indeed, easier in some ways but overall a big project. Frank, aka 62Overlander, now a commercial vendor, did what you are describing IIRC, but I'd read a few of the threads on the task and then you'll know what you are getting into. Good luck, William
