Hey, Kevin,
Dallas was wondering if you had left yet and thought you had because he hadn't heard from you . You are an adverturous fellow with a 33 year old tow vehicle, but when you get to the Rally you will be the talk of the town. You'll have some great stories to tell, and I bet a lot of that goes on there!
I very much appreciate the information on the Free Wheelers. Soon there will be one more in Indiana, once I get my membership sent in. Sounds like a good group to know and I've looking forward to the next Intra Club get together. The web does have a way of bringing people together.
I was hoping to get to Bozeman for the rally, but I think I'm going to miss it by about 3 days. I'm waiting to get my camper back from Dan Piper in Peru. I've only had it since December and there was a lot to be done I couldn't do myself. I'm handy and fairly adverturous when it comes to these things, but I don't have a death wish. I'm not messing with LP or electricity! Since he's going out of town it's unlikely I'll get it back in time to get her ready to roll. But, I'm headed to Missoula to see my son, so I'll wave at all the Airstreams coming back. Are you staying out there for a while, or coming back to Indiana? Our paths might cross.
I'll contact once I get signed up for Free Wheelers. I've registered for VAC, and WBCCI, so I'm good there. What fun this is all proving to be. Buying an Airstream was all I thought it would be, and some days even more.

Greetings Carol!
I received your message today -- have been on the road heading to the International Rally and my 33 year old tow vehicle has been making very good friends with Murphy's Law -- it seems that there is something new each day!
The Free Wheelers are a very diverse group. We have young singles from mid twenties to singles like Kathy Hunt who is past 80 but you would think that she was no more than 50 given her energy! There is a fairly active group of Free Wheelers in Ohio as well as in Florida and Arizona -- elsewhere, there aren't typically enough of us to be terribly active.
The contact information for the Free Wheelers Intra Club is in your Membership handbook. I believe that the dues are $20.00 per year -- mainly covers our newsletters and any costs associated with reserving a meeting room at the International Rally.
The Free Wheelers will have social times at virtually all of the Regional, International, and most State Rallys. There is at least one annual caravan that usually forms in Ohio and travels to the International -- We have the option of parking with Free Wheelers or Vintage, but I have always parked with Vintage. Parking with an Intra-Club at a big rally makes the rally seem more personalized.
Additional caravans or functions are planned sporadically depending upon the direction of the Free Wheelers board. Very recently, we have had a much more active web presence via wbcci.org through a FreeWheelers website/page.
I will be happy to try and answer any other questions you may have!
Take care and have a great week!
Kevin Allen
