    Hi Flyfshr

Our 1960 24" Airstream arrived today. It's number is 24D-0200. California #359. rear bath tub curbside. Double bed.

Most of the systems/appliances have been removed but that ok. We are going to modernize it (sell the cabinets and other items). Let the work begin. I'm trying to put together a cost sheet/parts list and have to admit I had no idea a restoration could be so expensive. The site has been a great resource.

    Thanks
    Donna

So I see the "flyfshr" - which is my main addiction, fly fishing. Tell us more about your fly fishing if you don't mind? Thanks

Thanks, Brad. We really enjoyed seeing you again, too. And thanks again for finding the classic 120v fan. Karen's working on it now.

Thanks brad. You too! Great trade wind as well. We actually just got home and checked our email and got a lead on a new airstream which might be exciting. Its a long shot but we'll keep everyone posted. It would be a great vintage addition for us and much smaller for those Arizona trips.

Hi Brad, thanks for the invite. We are struggling up here in NJ with the effects of a big snowstorm last night. Heavy winds now are making it even worse. Wishing you and your Family a Happy New Year!

Hi Brad, Mello Mike gave us your contact. We are interested in buying an '07 Intl CCD 25FB that is in Phoenix. Problem is...we're in Florida and this will be our first AS. We are in need of the experts! Mike said he might be able to inspect for us on Sat., or to check with you if needed sooner. After asking every question our novice brains can think of, the owner leads us to believe that it's in great shape. Should we still have a dealer inspect before flying up to look it over ourselves? Also, we're not sure of the best way to get it back to FL...hire a pro to move it, or try to find a tow vehicle we can rent one way and bring it back ourselves? Any insight?
thanks for your help! Gail & Scott
