Sorry for the late reply. We have the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland V8 4x4 with the Hemi. We also just bought a Toyota Tundra and both pull this Airstream with ease. The Jeep does a better job. I can't say for sure if your V6 would do the job but there are likely others on this site that could answer that for you.
We upgraded to the truck for the space. We can haul more gear in the back of the Tundra than the Jeep. Just feels like the Jeep had more guts even tho they are both V8's.

Hey There EmptyNesters,

I'm currently in the market to purchase my first Airstream and wanted to ask you how your Jeep Grand Cherokee handles towing your 22' Airstream? I own a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 3.6L V6 VVT Engine (295 horespower). It has a 6200 pound max payload/towing capacity. I'm interested in getting a 17-19' airstream. Do you think my Cherokee would be powerful enough to pull an airstream of this size? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide on how your Cherokee handles towing your airstream!
