    Your post re: Dexter axles is great.. My supplier in Hagerstown is having a hard time getting info- You indicated you had an AS knowlegable contact at Dexter??

    If you ever get a chance to post a picture of how the cross arms latch, I'd love to see it. I think that whatever they attach to are missing on mine. I thought the hook on the end fastened to the roller but the arms aren't long enough to reach and come apart when extended. I'm trying to get the hooks replaced but need to know what they hook onto. Because I haven't done this the awning had been damaged some due to wind that flaps it up.

    Can you tell me how your Awning (Carefree) cross braces latch, keeping the awning from flying up. Got the same one on my 72 TW but there is no way to secure the arms. Thanks
