I have been calling every day to see if there has been any cancellations, and none so far. I think we'll just have to plan on next year and find another rally for now.

My husband Ron and I (Lora) have just got into this airstream thing, we haven't even stayed in ours yet (can't wait) Anyway, I 've put us down for a maybe for the Rally in your state of Kentucky. I called to make a reservation and the Middle Fork campsites were all spoken for. How far away would we be from everyone if we where to stay in the other campground. We'd be coming from Iowa and are looking to make this a weekend to weekend trip. Any info you have would be great.

Hello! We live in Simsonville, Kentucky and are about to buy our first Airstream. We have admired them for many years and have looked at them at Bates RV near Tampa Florida, but we are now ready to buy. We plan to live and travel in it for several years (we did that in a Grand Banks Trawler some years back so we know we can live together in a small space). Do you have any suggestions about where would be a good place to get a good deal? We don't know anyone who has an Airstream. We would also like to find out about any Rally that would be near us. Thanks for any advice.

We are newbys and would like to attend the Ky rally but our rv is not complete.Do people attend these functions without their rv? We could use ideas. Tinmender Lex. Ky.

That's some of the same things I was thinking about, sponsoring a meal, t-shirts (with adds), door prizes, etc. Let me see what I can do, I used to have some connections at Camping World and Trailer World. You will love Dale Hollow!! If you are coming from Somerset on 90 be sure to go down to highway 63 in Burksville before you turn to go to the park. There is an alternate route you will come to first (don't remember the road #) I would not take it, strait up and very narrow. Have fun!
