Put her up on some jack stands to get at those old scary bias ply tires . Turns out the road side stabilizer jack is totally rusted away so I retracted it before it punched a hole in the underside and put a spare jack there instead . Put jack stands and 2x12's under the frame once the wheels were up off the ground. Little scary putting it all up in the air like that because the ground has some slope to it here . The pics make it look bad but the trailer is basically level and...

At the advice of air forum members we had a party in our airstream where it's parked in the front yard. 5 adults, two young labradors and one senior labrador.. Snacks and card games. The leaf in the fold out table came off at the hinges when we tried to use it but the part where it slided back and forth was useful. The lazy boy twin recliner is totally the wrong bulk for that space, takes up way too much room when it's sitting sideways. Fridge was good for some cold beverages...

Was watering the front garden today and I decided to put the hose into the fresh water inlet on the Airstream. Turns out it's more of a waterstream than an Airstream Water started gushing out from the belly pan right around the tank drain just about as fast as I was putting it in. Did this a couple of times while running inside to look at the tank connections beside the wheel well down in the side closet. It's a center bath model so that's where the tanks are. I was hoping to find a cracked...

Remember the battery boiling incident? Unplugged the converter charger to stop that and decided the battery needed a regular charge with my portable charger. Was really having a hard time even getting up to 13.0 volts so I popped the caps off and saw the top of the battery plates. Not good. Ended up adding 700 ml of distilled water to that unit and another 100 ml to the second battery. Furthermore, turns out that with the converter disconnected and the trailer still plugged into shore...

Got the entrance step to drop down and fold open. Only took half a can of PB Blaster and a crow bar to do. Turns out that between the surface rust on the frame and the corrosion / grit in the step pivots the whole thing just needed to be flushed out and worked. It's going to need more TLC before it works well.
