Dannie,I have been looking for a couple of months now.Run the gamut of what I want.Impressed by the 70 Overlander DIY series also examples on the forum.
I want to do a renovation and upgrade.I will do all the work myself(cabinet maker)(my avocation) with the exception of wiring.I was thinking of reveneering the wood with exotic hardwood.I have a line on a 65 Amb.Georgia trailer (no title req.)in Destin Fla. Owner has reg.and Bill of sale.So have to go through a process to get legal.The other is a clean 74 Overlander.
that has 2 tanks and a better frame than the 65.
I like the vintage look of the 65 but the 74 might be less of a problem.Although hate the laminate and the idea of replacing everything with new wood.
Having it inspected today(Oregon) I plan to full time on some property in the country and take a maiden voyage this summer.Your thoughts,since you went to a newer trailer.Steve

thank you for your concern. This has been an overwhelming loss only grateful to be alive and uninjured. Hopefully, the pics will get posted in the next few days showing how close we really came to a fatal accident. We are very grateful to all the friends and family that have shown concern and come to our aid.

That would be awesome! I just checked with them and they said that wouldn't be a problem. A13 is 72 feet long, with room for slide outs on both sides, so I don't think you'll have too much trouble getting in that one. I'd be more than happy to help you back it in if I get there before you do on Friday. Would you like me to call them and make the switch?

Dannie, How are you doing? Have you had any work done to your trailer? January went by very quickly for us and we got a little behind. We are waiting on some parts and working at little things right now. Then it will be on to the plumbing in the bathroom. We also have to order new axles and wheels. Hope all is well with you.
