Thanks for note.. Glad you are enjoying your Airstream, and getting it gradually refinished to suit you and your husband's preferences.. I figure a few more local trips and you'll be ready for a longer adventure.. I still rank the Canadian Rockies/Glacier national Park as #1 (better than Yosemite or Yellowstone..) and drive is pretty easy through Montana, with friendly Canadians at border and in their parks.. Another adventure could be run up to Oshkosh WI in late July for giant Air Show and Fly-in.. 10,000 planes fly into airport, with Thunderbirds air show and 1 square mile of RV camping, though it is dry camping so you'd need small generator or larger generator if you wanted to be sure of working A/C...
We're staying close to home as long as my mother is in local assisted living facility (at age 96+) this summer, but hoping next year finally becomes the year for us to head out to eastern Canada...

    Hi John,

I just got home after another wonderful weekend in my much loved AS.. In the morning I am taking her to have new cork floors put down.. I am so excited to see how she looks with this major improvement.. A few weeks ago I have the sofa reupholstered in leather.. I'll send you picture once I have her back..

Anyway, I was just thinking about you and I am so thankful for all the help you extended to me in my search, purchase and learning curve.. I hope all is well with you and yours...

    Take care,
    Vickie

    Hi John,

What do you think of a 2008 Chevy Tahoe V8, 5.3 liter? It lists towing capacity of 8200 pounds. I found one that I really like. It has 62,000 miles and has every option I want, nav, back up camera, tow package and nice leather seat. I would be able to use it pretty comfortably as a regular car and it fits in my garage!

Anyway, I hope I'm not bugging you with all my question.

    Thank you,
    Vickie
