    Hey Paula
It was nice meeting you and Steve at the rally.
Thanks again for the easter baskets....the boys were very excited when I gave it to them.
Hope to see you at a future rally in shinny Codybear!
You're very lucky to have an AS that was handed down from one generation to another.

"Bertha" Sanda's Gramma's car. Been taking care of her since 1976. Unrestored..just about the way we got her. Thanks for the comment.

Ah, California. We dream of being able to get back to visit your wonderful State. At the moment my travel ability hangs around 2 hours each way with a good break in between. Once Donna retires we will be able to do the long trips in two to three hour travel days so that happens in the summer of 2010. If nothing else we will certainly be seeing the country given the snails pace we will be traveling but that is a good thing. Until then, though, we are pretty much trapped in the Pacific North West, not a bad thing by any means and there a tons of places yet to discover in this area, but it would sure be great to get down your way and meet you folks, Milo and his wife, and the others who live there. In the scheme of things 18 months is not too long to wait for us but I'm sure getting antsy. Take care, enjoy your sixties. Barry

Hi, We just returned from the Coast. Weather was beautiful with the usual afternoon fog creeping over the ocean and inland. After the usual setup at our site, we got all the accessories that went along with the awning. We set up the awning which went up quite quickly and it worked!..Over the next 2 days, we played with the poles and stakes, adjusting and readjusting them so that they'd all fit together. We also tried making the poles taller, and also moved the poles to the inside set of grommets...

Always looking for some new kind of project, I set out to sew our new awning for the Safari. After 2 weeks, we're ready to test it out!. Trying to maneuver 12 ft. x 10' of screen fabric material through the arms of my circa '69 Touch & Sew, going through 3 sewing machine needles, 2 spools of heavy duty nylon upholstery thread and a bunch of pin pricks, I finally finished it. The grommets were put in by my hubby, and we ordered telescopic tent poles and stakes to set up. We're heading for the...
