The best laid plans... My plan to finish epoxying the edges of the floor and getting the shell on are on weather hold again. Instead I decided to spend my time filling in the rivet holes in the channel with HTS-2000. Will post photos tomorrow.

Finally got the frame blasted, repaired, painted, and home. Another rain delay, it's supposed to rain the rest of today, and tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to get the floor and channel done Sunday, and start lowering the shell.

Finally finished sand blasting the top part of the frame Saturday, and ready for flipping over.

Now I'm thinking instead of flipping it back over, just turn the outriggers I've already replaced over and put the rest in upside down, and VOILA, a low rider.

Spent yesterday evening grinding and cutting rusted screws, nuts, and bolts. The end result is that the floor is off and the frame is ready for sand blasting. The weather is supposed to cooperate, so sand blasting will happen Saturday.

Taking something apart, even an Airstream, is fairly simple, although not always easy. Just unscrew the screws and drill out the rivets. Putting it back together will be a bit more challenging. That's why I have chosen to start my blog toward the end of the simple part. Weekend before last the rain finally stopped long enough to get the shell disconnected and lifted.
