Well, that sounds just delightful. I've been most of those places ... been backpacking in Big Bear, hiking in Palm Springs area (lived there briefly), visiting Santa Barbara, San Clemente, etc. and recall once motorcyling through Temecula. All nice country. Some of the desert gets too hot for my taste, esp. in summer time. In Feb., etc., Palm Desert, 29 Palms, Joshua Tree, etc. are all pretty darned nice places to be. Never had my Airstream out there yet. Gotta' plan such a trip. Thanks for the nice photos!
