Also, we are trying going to redesign the inside to fit five of us. It is me, my wife, and we have a 3, 4 and 6 year old. With the redesign, we wanted to move the kitchen to the other side, the door side, but most fridges require venting. My neighbor suggested moving to a regular fridge and run everything off of the newer tesla style batteries so we dont need to vent the fridge. Thoughts?

Finally, I have spent hours and hours reading through threads, but man... it is hard to find the information that I need. These threads are so dispersed and hard to find what you need. Too many threads, not enough information. So... people refer to street side... does that mean the not door side I guess? I have been referring to everything as door side versus kitchen side. Anyways, thanks for any help!

Thanks for the comments. You have a 71 and I have a 69. It looks very similar. It looks like you have already gone through a lot of what I am going through. Here's to hoping that you can help with with some advice/answers!

First, I have gutted the AS down completely inside. I did find out that it was wrecked and I need to drill out the rivets and seal again and then rerivet with the correct rivets. I know that some of the frame is bad and needs fixing, as around the edges the floor is rotted, however when I get a little inside, I so far cannot see how to remove the floor! I dont see any screws in the middle, but it sure doesnt want to come up. Is it screwed from underneath through the belly side?

Question about the frames you installed so you could put your vents in level. You in USA?

Hi Aerowood. My husband is restoring a 1970 Overlander and came across some posts that mention a dent roller you have sold to others in the past. Do you still have any of these for sale? He is nearing this stage in his project and I'd like to get him one for his upcoming birthday. Thanks.

Kip, easy question. I plan to install a 1/4” aluminum plate on the inside adhered to the inside of the outer skin. I want to drill and tap a 8-32 ss screw from the outside for the outer door handle. I will use locktite. I will also reinforce the door hinge area with some 040 for stability. Is there an adhesive or epoxy that the aircraft industry uses for aluminum? When time allows, I would appreciate your input. Thanks, Bubba

I ran across a post of you asking about replacement screen doors and hinges. Did you ever find a source? I'm looking for a hinge as well.

    Thanks, Ryan
