BMW is a great vehicle and working quite well for us with the 23. However, the F15 is problematic to set up as an Airstream tow vehicle. The trailer module and lighting cable work, but you need to have an aftermarket hitch installed and most dealers will not do the work.
Look at the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Mercedes GL. Believe they can use a factory hitches without significant reinforcement.
The easiest solutions for a 25 are the Ford Ecoboost and Ram Eco diesel 1/2 tons with a crew cab. You have room for 4 and open space for dirty stuff, generator and fuels.
