    Don,

It's a lot of work if you're up for it. Been years since I've done the resto but I have lots of pictures of two different models under members photos (Pizzachop). I highly recommend the center bath/rear bedroom model as it provides more sleeping capability with bunk beds. Lots of ways to go if you're handy. Very important to make sure frame/floor is structurally sound before remodeling the interior (if you're starting with an older model). Don't really have any new advice and can't remember half of what I once knew. Search the forums...great source of info.

Hey Don, my name is Derek Waltchack and I live in Birmingham. I have 5 kids and have been looking at TTs. My problem is I love Airstreams, but I can't see how we'd all fit and be comfortable in one. I see the box TT's and they look terrible, but on the inside they are cavernous! I hear that you have done some neat mods to your AS to accommodate your awesome family. Can you share with me any thoughts or ideas? do you have pictures of your rig? Thanks so much! Derek
