I posted a messgae looking for help and a nice guy referred me to you since you tow with a BMW as well. I am wondering if you had to make any modifications to your wiring system to make the brakes work properly on your AirStream when towing with BMW? I just prchased a new Safari 17 and am trying to tow it with my X3. I've installed an OEM wiring harness and it all works fine - except that with the slightest tap on the X3 brakes lock up the A/S brakes. Other tow vehicles have not had this problem with my Safari. I have a Prodigy brake controller and intend to istall it soon. Will this fix the problem? Does the brake controller need to be wired differently than the instruction indicate because of BMW wiring?
