Dick, sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I'm not on the computer much lately, having some problems with my hands not working properly but getting through it. I have both an Equilizer and a Reese. I've tended towards the Reese but not the dual cam model. My buddy who tows with a '54 Ford Wagon also uses a WD hitch, I believe also a non dual cam Reese. He actually has a dual cam version but hasn't needed it. We both have airshocks in back and run with 40lbs in them when towing. We also have Reese anti-sway bar and wouldn't tow without it. Never a problem with our set ups nor have I had with the equilizer which I used for years. 1,000lb bars on both I believe which is more than I actually need but they were with the hitch. I could easily get by with 750lb bars. Hope that helps. Best way to get me is direct at
