Hi Jo,

I hope all is going well with you.

We haven't got any plans so far. I'd like to do another trip like Ray put together around Wyoming a couple of summers ago, except without so much drama. Unfortunately, Connie is spending all of her time in Fort Collins taking care of her mom who is sick. She has only been home for about a week since October. So we don't know when/if we'll be able to get away. Health issues of one sort or another keep getting in the way. I we can to anything I'll be sure to let you know.

Just checking in. Are the two of you planning any trips this year around Wyoming?

Hi Jo,
It doesn't look like we'll be doing any more trips this year. I was hoping to go this week, but Connie isn't feeling really well. So I'll probably winterize the camper this weekend. You should probably start thinking about that pretty soon, but you've probably got a few more weeks. It's probably pretty important to get the water out of the lines before you get a hard freeze for more than a couple of days. I don't think it's all that big of a deal if it freezes over night. The water lines take a little time to freeze up.

We definitely will keep you in mind in our travels, and will look you up when in the Chadron area. I'm trying to find a good spot for the eclipse next August. The Alliance area would be ideal. Do you know any off the grid camping spots around there?

I’m so sorry to hear about Connie’s struggle again. I have back issues and I always have to stop and remind myself how lucky I am. I hope you will keep me in and should you guys go traveling in our areas. I would like to make one more outing before I winterize my AS. When should I be thinking about winterizing it? Last year I did it too soon and wasn’t able to go anywhere after October 15. Take care and I’ll make contact again.

We're thinking about it. Connie is wrestling with cancer again and doing chemo therapy. So everything depends on how she is feeling. I like doing an end of the year trip around Halloween. Deer and elk hunting season is closed October 24-31 around Lander. Connie has that week off from chemo. So I'm trying to talk her into a few days during the last week of the month. It's hard to plan that. Will she be feeling okay? Will the weather cooperate? .... Want to come along?
