Yup, an exciting game, somebody had to lose. Texas has overachieved versus my expectations this year anyway, since next year was really the target for competing for the national championship. It will be interesting to see how OU, OkState, and Tech all perform against each other. I'm glad my team is done playing those three.

What a great game. Sorry TU lost in the end; however, it was a Texas team that got the best of them. OSU and Tech. this week-end. I'm an OSU alumni. Then OU and Tech after that. This season has been an anxious one.

It was a great game, extremely exciting for fans of both teams. The Horns and Sooners at the Fair actually got along really well, there's a lot more respect than there used to be in this rivalry.

And I am not the type to ever rub it in. Too many times on the losing end, I just enjoy the wins.

Did you die during the game? I would think you would have written to rub it in by now. What a game that was. I'm sorry we lost, but there's always next year.

Well, the Cottonbowl is next week-end. Looks like it should be quite a game this year. #1 and (at last count) #5. You'll probably go up in the rankings this week.

No real Oklahoman could pass up the opportunity to bring up football. All, and I do mean all, of my family are OU alumni with the exception of myself. I went to Oklahoma State, but alas, they can't play football for the entire season worth a flip. The only game I know they will work their hardest to win is the OU/OSU game. However, when your father played for the Sooners, you know where you loyalties lay. Going to the lake this week-end to visit the Sovereign. The weather here is beautiful and we have satillite down there, so no football will be missed. No boondocking around here.

You had to bring up the annual tush-whipping in Dallas, didn't you? Man, that's really low...

THIS is our year, I can just feel it!

You mean the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, don't you? You know that game they have every year where OU usually beats that other school. The name escapes me........It begins with a "T" I think. You see my father played football for the University of Oklahoma, so I don't think the Argosy would feel comfortable in Austin. Actually my husband works for a company out of Georgetown, and we like the Austin area very much. It's one of the areas that we would consider moving to if we ever relocated.

Any chance you would bring that rig down to Austin and let me tailgate for a Longhorn football game with it?

It wasn't burnt orange in this picture; however, two years later it was painted a metallic bronze that is as close to the original as we could get. Look at my pictures to see it being painted.
