Yikes!!!!! Venus in a 'copter?!?!?!? You better put her in a carrier.....not just a harness and leash! You don't want her escaping up there and making a leap for freedom....or, worse yet, a leap onto the lap of the pilot!

Looks like Venus will be getting her first helicopter ride next week!! I been helping out a friend with a R-22 and he plans on visiting the vinyard next week. I'll get a pic of Venus in the cockpit.I'll be holding her as there are lots of parts in whirley birds going in different directions!!Would not want her chasing anything.

I have owned a lot of cats....a couple that even liked to go hiking. However, the idea to take a cat in any kind of boat never crossed my mind! You MUST post some pics of this adventure....

hi Tim....I was reading the Jackson Rancheria thread....and, I noticed all these dog avatars seemed to dominate! And, since I have spent the past week photographing the cutest puppy ever born , I decided to change my avatar for the first time in 5 years!

Maybe it's time for Venus to make her presence known on the AirForums...

OMG.....you're right.....$90 for the SVEA 123! I wonder if they are still made in Sweden I believe I actually paid $12.50 for the stove (in 1975, I think, at a surplus store in San Rafael), and my boyfriend had one of the more expensive ($20-something) Optimus 8R stoves.

I went looking to see if I still had mine....I found the stacking cookware thing I kept it in, along with a small pump I bought to pressurize it without pouring white gas all over the stove, then lighting it. My husband is a "tosser" and I am a "keeper." Unfortunately, he tosses MY STUFF! I would love to get it working.....now that I am retired and have the time to reeeeally take it apart and mess with it....but, looks like that's not happening!

    Cheers
